Merrich Estate Olive Farm, one of the Swan Valleys most popular destinations, has introduced a new bistro-style menu. In keeping with the Country feel of the Swan Valley, a new look garden dining area has been created.
Bleeno's Bistro - set in the downstairs area, offers an under cover dining area, cellar dining and cheese and wine garden seating.
Our new head chef, Sophie, has joined Nicholas in the kitchen. Having Worked in Jamie Oliviers restaurant in Cornwall, hands on in Pasta making demonstrations, and a wealth of International experience, she has joined the team and brings with it a strong Mediterranean feel with her passion for Italian, rustic food.
Sophie loves going into the garden on the Estate and selecting her herbs and vegetables bringing in the freshest flavours and ingredients into her daily freshly rolled pasta and meat dishes - just like Jamie she picks, blends and enjoys nothing more than seeing her guests enjoying every morsel!! Breads are baked daily and the cake selection in the Olive Shop will be growing by the week!! Watch this space!!
Merrich Estate now has a new liquor license which allows patrons to enjoy an glass of wine or beer without a meal. What better way than to meet good friends late afternoon, sit back and relax with a glass of excellent Swan Valley or WA wine and a boutique beer in the garden setting surrounded by Olive Trees.
While here, browse in the Olive Shop, the first boutique Olive Shop in WA, and still housed in the original "Shed," Merrich Estate produces the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil and processed table olives, all grown and produced on the Estate. Oils, olives galore, tapenades, dukkah and other deli lines all on offer. Cakes made using extra virgin olive oil.
Big Brook range of wines from Pemberton can now be tasted in the wine cellar. Taste & order your Big Brook wines before enjoying your meal.
